Family time is the time when your children learn on how to deal with all kinds of life, and where they learn innumerable lessons.  Without this time, children can be left and lost, as they need to have a sense of belonging and feeling they have a safe place that they can trust. 

When it comes to family fun, Genting is one of the first few choices that will come to my mind. While we feel not comfortable to travel overseas yet due to coronavirus pandemic, we choose to cuti cuti Malaysia again this year, yehuuu !

There's definitely a reason why Genting Highland is so popular with families.  The breathtaking view from the top of the highlands is enough to keep people coming back and plus there are so many other attractions for the families and of course for the kids as well.

Travelling on weekdays can help you to avoid crowds, however if you don't want to miss the festival or any event you will have to reconsider your plans.  Since i am a mother of two, and to avoid the crowds weekdays is the best.   

With so much to see and do at Genting Highlands, it is impossible to experience it all in just one day. So you may consider for an overnight stay or two at Resort World Genting's hotel. Here are few tips & guides for you to go through before plan your trip with your beloved family, hope this helps !

• Book your tickets in advance for guaranteed entry and to enjoy any discount. 
• You can conveniently book your online tickets via the official website at www.gentingskyworlds.com or via Genting SkyWorld's Mobile App (downloaded via GooglePlay, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery) 

• Download the Genting Sky Worlds Mobile App. 
• You need to download this when you entering Genting SkyWorld. With the real information, you are enable to navigate and experience the park effectively. You can also check wait times for rides, attractions, and shows as well as receive any promotional offers and vouchers. On top of that, you can also discover dining, shopping, skill games, photo and amenities at the touch of the screen. The app also integrates with the Virtual Queue (VQ) for you to do the reservation planning service. This features allows you to make reservation for selected attraction prior to and during your visit to SkyWorld. This allow you to prebook preferred time slots for rides and attractions, create and edit boarding group for multiple ticket holders, view recommended itineraries from personal preferences and receive a real time alerts for bookings, among other features.    

• Cashless Theme Park 
• Genting SkyWorlds is a cashless theme park. Do prepare your electronic money to make any purchases via credit or debit cards, QR Pay or EWallet provided by TNG, Alipay, Wechat, Maybank, GrabPay, Boost Pay & Samsung Pay. Kiosk are available in park for new purchases, reload and/or refund. 

• Extra Tips :
• If you're concerned that your child may become separated from you, write your name and phone number on their arm.  That way, if they are discovered you may be readily contacted. 
• A light stroller is an excellent all-around choice.  They are easy to transport and can be carried anywhere you go.
• Don't overpack.  You can always purchase items like diapers or wet tissues anywhere you travel.  Just pack the essentials, and you are good to go.
• Most importantly, frequently wash your hands with soap and water or an alcohol based hand massage. 
• When you are out in public, try to keep a physical gap of at least 1 meter between you and other people. 
• When in public locations, use masks.
